My manager’s death made me strong – Kwaw Kesse

Emmanuel Botchwey popularly known in the Showbiz industry as Kwaw Kesse has disclosed that his manager’s death, in fact, made him stronger in his career.

Fennec Okyere, Kwaw's manager was killed at his Manet Gardens residence on the Spintex Road, Accra in March 2014.

His death came as a shock to the public and Kwaw Kese is said to have broken down in tears when he entered the house and saw his dead manager.

Despite missing his manager's presence, he believes Fennec’s deatg has made him stronger. “If you have not gone through what I went through, you might think everything is good.” He told Asempa FM. “In the same year i was sent to prison and my wife divorced me as well. So after going through all this and you are still doing music and taking care of your kids, then it means you are the strongest person in the world.

“I understand this is my work but it was not easy for me.” He told Mavis Amanor, host of the show.
